Fun with Flupe follows the adventures of young Paul Ward as he jumps into his book of nursery stories to help jolly Granny Fix and bouncy, lovable Flupe repair things that have gone wrong in the world of rhymes—all while learning spoken English.
Through their adventures young Helen Doron students learn a basic vocabulary of 650 words, correct pronunciation, and the fundamentals of English sentence structure. The course includes 25 songs in 12 animated adventures.
Fun with Flupe is appropriate for beginner students or also as a follow up to Baby’s Best Start or It’s a Baby Dragon.
More Fun with Flupe is the follow-up course to Fun with Flupe with 12 new episodes of the adventures of Paul Ward, Granny Fix and Flupe. Kids just can’t wait to find out how they solve problems of the fairies, magicians and dragons they meet along their way. More Fun with Flupe teaches 650 words and 25 songs and can be taken by children who complete Fun with Flupe.
Polly Reads and Writes is a unique course that includes both in-class and at-home learning materials. Suitable for beginning students or students who have completed Fun with Flupe or More Fun with Flupe, children learn to speak, read and write English with confidence as they follow the adventures of Polly the Collie, Nat the Cat, Roy the Boy and Pearl the Girl.
In-class instruction is complemented by a downloadable reading app with 32 interactive books divided into 8 levels, which advance as the child progresses and learns. The app allows the child to work independently outside of the classroom, practising important language learning skills. Each shelf of 4 interactive books corresponds to one book to reinforce reading and to teach writing. Children complete the course with a wonderful amount of knowledge.
Jump with Joey, for beginner students ages 6-9 can also be taught following the Fun with Flupe series. This delightful course includes a 12-episode animated series that follows the adventures of Paul Ward and his friend Millie who help Kangi and her mischievous son Joey solve problems in Storyville. While studying English kids also learn important values about friendship and protecting the environment.
Students learn English through 25 songs and loads of games and activities both in the classroom and at home. Jump with Joey is the very first English course to use augmented reality technology. Kids’ English learning experience is enriched as the Jump with Joey characters come to life in their magic activity books, complementing the all-important home hearing segment of the Helen Doron English methodology.
Students taking More Jump with Joey continue to follow the lively adventures of Paul, Millie, Kangi and Joey as they solve problems in Storyville. This course is a continuation to Jump with Joey and kids will love watching English come alive through magic activity books. Students learn English through 25 songs and loads of fun learning activities and games.
This new course is for beginning students, ages 8-14 years, as well as for continuing students who are at the pre-A1 Common European Framework of Reference examination level.
Eight original songs, stories and fun activities keep students motivated and involved in Paul Ward’s worldwide adventures. In every exciting lesson, students join Paul as he travels the world, meets new friends and learns about different cultures and countries.
The course covers a large vocabulary of 1800 words and includes listening and reading comprehension, writing, spelling and assessments to mark student progress.
Students learn to speak English naturally as a mother tongue language—through stories, songs, interaction and games to strengthen phonics and English reading and writing skills.
This course is for students ages 9-15 who have an intermediate knowledge of spoken and written English and also for students who have successfully completed Paul Ward Explores. Paul Ward’s Adventures continues the fun and adventures as Paul travels the globe. This course is a music-filled, multi-sensory learning experience that makes a lasting impression on students.
In Paul Ward’s Adventures, students learn 2000 words and the English grammatical structures required to achieve level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. An advanced course option is available with grammar lessons that support reading and listening comprehension. Grammar is based on the content and vocabulary from the Paul Ward’s Adventures learning set and prepares students for Helen Doron Teen English courses.
Students learn to speak English naturally, as a mother-tongue language and strengthen grammar, reading, writing and spelling skills.
